I would have to agree with the other blog about inflating the price….According to Toshiba, the MSRP for this “Amazon-exclusive” Toshiba Satellite model is $549.99. Why then is Amazon stating that its price is $579.99? So that they can inflate the discount during the lightning deal?
Also, the webcam is poor quality and has poor contrast. I didn’t even realize the megapixels where not showed for this computer. I’m going to return this back to Amazon, because lack of information and the difference in price from Toshiba directly.

|Perfect for MS Office & Surfing the Web,
Got this during the Black Friday lightening deals for only $449. I had wanted a large-screen laptop for working on Excel files, and surfing the web. This computer is perfect for that. The large screen makes working with spreadsheets simpler, and it’s plenty quick enough for any normal web surfing. It plays movies just fine, as well.
So far, it hasn’t crashed or acted unstable. The full-size keyboard is simple to use. I don’t game (ie, no Skyrim for me!), so I can’t say whether or not you can do any gaming or 3-D modeling on this computer. But if you’re just using this for work or web-surfing, you won’t be disappointed.

I bought this (Toshiba Satellite C675-S7321) on a black Friday lightening round and I gave it 5 stars based on the price I paid relative to its capability and ease of use.
It lacks an HDMI port and it only has 2 USB ports, which one knows “going in”. The screen is 17.3 inches so the room allows for a well layed out standard sized keyboard (i.e., w keypad). The mouse sensitivity is “perfect” – it isn’t so sensitive that your page disappears w/o warning – if you know what I mean. The speakers are very “middle of the road”. The web-cam has reasonably excellent resolution and, of course, the “face recognition” is always fun. My main use for a computer is web surfing. For that use – this computer more than delivers in the only area that really matters when web surfing – speed. I reckon buying “too much computer” for one’s needs is a huge waste of money…so if your needs don’t exceed this computer’s capability (as given by Toshiba’s stated specs) – its a fantastic deal.
As w most all computers, it comes w very small useful documentation. The “how to’s” for most all of the included software is pretty self evident and/or simple to locate and use.
